What you need at home
- A laptop or desktop. A phone is fine for joining, not for designing.
- A steady internet connection for a live video class.
- Headphones with a mic, so you can ask questions mid-lesson.
- A free Figma account. It runs in the browser, nothing to buy.
- A few hours a week outside class to work on your own project.
Online, but not alone
Learning design from recorded videos is hard because nobody tells you what is wrong with your screen. In the live class you work in a small group, ask when you are stuck, and share your Figma file so Manoj can review it with you. Group activities, like persona building and card sorting, happen online too.
The course covers user research, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, accessibility, usability testing, and how AI tools fit into each step. Mentorship goes past the syllabus: a resume, your LinkedIn and Behance profiles, interview practice, and how freelancing works.
Manoj has 4.5 years of UI/UX work on ERP systems, mobile apps, and business platforms, and founded Aarasoft Academy in April 2026. A design degree is not needed. College students from any stream, freshers, graphic designers, developers, and people returning after a career gap all join.
