A course and a degree, not a course instead of a degree
UI UX design does not need a specific stream in 12th, and many design teams care more about your portfolio than your marks. But some employers still list a degree in their job posts, and a degree gives you three years to grow up as a designer. So our advice to most 12th students is simple: join a degree you are interested in, and learn design alongside it.
Students who start early arrive at their final year with a portfolio instead of starting one. That is the real advantage of a UI UX course after 12th, not a shortcut past college.
